so I did this in tribute to one of my favourite films.
started off as a pencil sketch, which I inked over, then imported into photoshop to colour. used a starfield and planet that I had made for another image as the background.
and here is the pencil sketch (I changed the pose of the legs in photoshop because it looked like he was favouring one leg more than the other).

ReplyDeleteNow, The Iron Giant is definitely one of my faves! I don't think I've cried so much from watching a movie with metal as its leading role. Hehehe. But then again, there was also Voltus V, that old Japanese animation. And I do mean "old"... :)
